Putting The SEO In SEasOn (or something..)
It’s been a bit quiet here at SEO Blokes Towers recently, quite possibly due to networking induced exhaustion from SMX in Seattle. Or possibly because when the sports pages barely have any mention of football (or soccer for our American friends), it’s often hard to make it through the day. But no more as today saw the release of the fixture list for next season - and hurrah for that.
In order to ensure that this post isn’t completely off the SEO topic, I thought that I’d do a search on one of the biggest names in English football last year, Carlos Tevez. For those of you who aren’t fans of the beautiful game, he’s an Argentinian player, who was bought by Ekky’s team West Ham (who basically won the World Cup in 1966) at the start of last season.
It would take too long to go into all of the scandal that has since surrounded that deal, but suffice to say it seems unlikely that they’ll have the aesthetically-challenged little genius next year. Because if you believe Google (and who here doesn’t?), then next year he will be playing for either Manchester United or Arsenal, as those are the first two clubs mentioned in the snippets of the main results.
Oh well Ekky, here’s a video of his awesome goal against Chelsea last season as something to remember him by..
And as a completely flippant aside (although it’s much more worthy of a blog post), when I found this video I also noticed the new YouTube layout which is currently in beta. I like.

seriously, a footie category? Jaaawn, how cliche. Hey Julie should we get a Make-up category?
It’s more of a tag than a category - I can’t help it if Wordpress uses stupid nomenclature…
